A few days after Colden came home from the hospital, I arranged a newborn photo session with Melissa Deakin Photography as part of our belly to baby series. Armed with a mini heater, a sound machine, at least 20 different baby blankets, and four hours to spare, Melissa got down to business. She took a risk shooting in the buff; but the outcome far surpasses the downside of a few resulting wet spots. Here are the images Melissa captured that spring day in late April.
