The weekend before last Matt and I decided to dust off our family ski pass and head out to the slopes- for the first time this season. Please note: It's February. They forget to tell you at the hospital that life with baby really means life at home for at least the first year...and honestly, I'm OK with that. In fact, I'm really enjoying life at home with our sweet boy. In capturing Colden's year of firsts however, we just had to make an appearance this ski season.

I'm not sure what's up next on Colden's list of firsts, but whatever it is, I'm vowing to get in front of the camera with my smiling boy, instead of always behind it. Thanks for the inspiration, and reminder to take my own advice!
