grammy and papa

Life with a toddler is so much easier with four extra helping hands. Having Grammy and Papa in town for a whole two weeks was, in a word, uh-mazing. Matt and I jam-packed our calendar with dinner dates, coffee dates, appointments, etc- re-filling our vastly depleted social reservoir to the brim, at least until the next time they're in town. It's a win win situation; mommy and daddy get a little baby-free time, while Grammy and Papa get their baby fix. Let me rephrase that. They get their Colden fix. Grammy especially; she cannot get enough of her boy.

Playing with household items is always a fave....especially the trusty diaper box.

Who needs toys? Cardboard provides hours of entertainment, literally.

Colden just loved having the constant presence of a captive audience. #spoiled

He learned all sorts of new things with Papa, too. Knuckles, Colden.

Time for one last dunk in the pool with Grammy before summer deflates.

With the weather so nice, Matt and my dad got a little pre-fall gardening in. Mums the word!

Inside, Colden was just eating up snuggle time with Grammy.

'In Grammy's arms and storybook chair, I can do anything, I can go anywhere....'

On their very last day, I made sure to stage a few quick photos. Here are my favorite frameables.

Colden misses you already, Grammy and Papa. Hurry back soon, he's waiting for you...
