4th of July Weekend

The last couple of weekends have been jam packed with visitors in town, and back to back work events. I was really looking forward to the holiday weekend to just relax; and to actually spend some time at home. Our sweet village hosts a parade celebrating the 4th on the 3rd, and at the last minute we decided to meet up with our friends and join in the fun.

By surprise, we ended up walking in the parade (Colden's first), and I have to say- it was pretty fun! There were lots of photo ops catching the tail end, as well as these tail ends. Daddy's sure love their boys.

The mamas and their little fellas.

Later in the weekend we headed to Green Lake for a picnic with the Hardy's. These boys are too much!

Talking a little stroll.

The rest of the weekend was spent, gasp...gardening! Matt ordered a huge heap of mulch, and for whatever reason, we both felt motivated to work on the yard. Call it nesting, but I was feeling really inspired to re-do our outdoor space. With a little local sleuthing, I managed to score a few end-of-the-season patio finds. Ahhh, this is nice.

What a great weekend!
