Martin Cooks for Matt

Yesterday was Matt's birthday. We actually went out. To a fancy dinner. With our best friends. Dare I say winning? We honestly never go out anymore, so it's hard to admit it took a birthday to get us to book Grandma and Grandpa to babysit, and to leave the comfort of our sweet little village and head downtown. I booked a reservation at a hip new restaurant called Martin Cooks; complete with a five course pre fixe menu. This place is just oozing with historic charm: think period building, exposed brick walls, industrial features, etc. The food blew us away, too. Not to mention the ambiance was perfect, and the company beyond outstanding. What a great night. Happy Birthday, Matt!
