Happy Birthday, Colden!

Today our sweet boy turned ONE. A whole year old! I cannot believe it's April again. So much has happened in the last year. So much good. Of course these past twelve months have brought challenges and obstacles we never dreamed of facing- but overall, I like to think we've come out on top. We've sacrificed a mind-blowing 350 hours of sleep, and yet somehow we've made it through the first year of parenthood with our sanity in tact (barely). Colden's still smiling, two little teeth and all. Sweet baby boy, we are so proud of you! Have a look at how Colden's first birthday went down.

Obviously we had to dress to impress. Colden wanted to show off for the neighbors.

At last. Colden wasn't really a fan...let's just say he and the frosting were not friends. Who really wants a vegan cupcake, anyway? I promise we'll try cupcakes again soon, sweet boy.
