big boy haircut

I absolutely love little boys with long hair. Colden's long blonde curls will appear after a bath, but only stay in tact briefly before the day's activities and frequent car rides create a perfect matted mess. I don't think I ever really intended to cut his hair, but I think it was the constant, 'ohh isn't she cute/how old is she' comments that made me think a sprucing up was due. We previously had his side wisps trimmed, but this was his first real, big boy haircut. Since I flew solo at the salon, all hands were on deck; imagine a toddler in your lap swatting at the scissors. Let's just say there weren't any good opportunities for photo taking during.

Where did my baby go? I cannot believe we are just two months shy from turning two. I'm so thankful my sweet boy still loves to snuggle. You're such a lovebug, Colden. I'm holding on to your babyhood for as long as I can.
