sesame street live

This past weekend Matt received free tickets to see a local performance of Sesame Street Live. Although I'm not the biggest fan of Elmo and Big Bird (I never watched them as a kid and thus I never formed that early childhood attachment), we figured it would be really fun to break our typical weekend routine and take Colden to his very first live performance. I have to say it was totally worth it. The kid LOVED it.

Intermission was a well-oiled-money-taking-machine. They sure know how to march down the aisles with every toy/balloon/candy that little kids go gaga over. Thankfully, Colden didn't care too much so we avoided the marketing meltdown happening all around us. He really enjoyed all the action and energy from the crowd, though.

And this red velvet couch found only at Shea's.

He especially loved the kisses from Daddy as we got our mid- show wiggles out.

Trying to get a family photo is always tricky..

Thanks for a great time, Big Bird!
